We have been studying about weather!  Yesterday we participated in a Science Mystery on the website www.mysteryscience.com.   We are learning how to tell if a storm is coming.  Check out the website to see the mystery!

This week we started Book Clubs!  There are four reading groups, and each group is reading a different chapter book.

We are back to blogging after a long break!  Mrs. Keever was gone because she had an adorable baby!  Now she is back, and we are starting to blog again.

First It was time to go to bed.Billy dose not want to go to bed.Then He thinks of a monster to try to keep him awake.It dose not work so he goes to sals room.Last He wakes sal up to try to make her join him to stay awake.Billy and sal do not it tail morning.question what is your favorite part so far?

Billy stays up all night.

First Billy tried to stay up by reading.
Billy read and it jest made him sleepy.
Next Billy tried to stay up by drawing.
Billy tried to draw and it didn’t work ether.
Last Billy tried to stay up by scaring himself.
Billy scared himself and it worked.

What is your favorite part of the book so far?

First,Billy tried to read but that didn’t work. That didn’t work because his eyes felt like steel. Second,Billy tried to write that didn’t work. That didn’t work because his eyes were slowly falling down. Last,Billy goes into Sal’s room and plays with the dropsisters but that didn’t work. That didn’t work because his eyes fell down quickly. What do you think will happen next?

Billy tried to stay up all night.

First,Billy tried to stay up all night by running laps around his bedroom. He did this to not be tempted to stay awake and not lay down. Next, Billy tried to draw this didn’t work because his eyelids were to heavy . Last, Billy tried to scare himself this worked so much that Billy got so scared that he ran to Sals room. Do you think Billy should have went to Sals room? 

Billy tried to stay up all night.One way he tried to stay up was by reading a book.Reading book did not work.Next he tried drawing a picture of an eliphent.drawing a eliphient did not work.Last he tried to scare him self by thinking of a monster with no skin on its nose and the nose wistled.Thinking of the monster did work becausse he heard whistling.

Billy wants to stay awake all night and he tried so many things but only 1 thing worked. First,  Billy tried drawing at his desk. Drawing doesn’t work at all so he thinks some more. Second, Billy tries reading and it works a little but not enough. It didn’t work enough because he’s just to sleepy. Last, Billy tries scaring himself to death. Scaring himself worked but mabey a bit to much. What would you do to stay up all night? I would eat a ton of candy when my parents were sleeping and I would try to run the coffee maker and drink a carmal chocolate laté and watch TV.

The Year Of Billy Miller

Billy Miller doesn’t want to go to sleep. First,Billy wants to stay up but he can’t so he trys reading. Reading didn’t work. Next,Billy trys scarring himself. Scarring himself didn’t work. Last,Billy went to his sister’s room and that worked for a while but then both of them fell asleep. They feel asleep because they were tired and there eyes were heavy. What will happen next?
